Determination of Micro-amount of Niobium and Tantalum in Fused Glass Samples by Argon Fluoride 193 nm Excimer Laser Ablation-Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry

  • 摘要: 建立了一种利用193 nm ArF准分子激光剥蚀-等离子体质谱法直接测定岩石熔融玻璃中Nb和Ta的分析方法。采用常规的碱熔法熔融样品,以29Si为内标、玻璃标准参考物质NIST SRM612为外标进行测定,方法的检出限分别为Nb0.003μg/g和Ta0.006μg/g(n=10)。分析4个不同的地质标准参考物质结果表明,Nb和Ta测定结果的相对误差(RE)和精密度(RSD,n=11)均低于10%。

     

    Abstract: A method for direct determination of niobium and tantalum in fused rock glasses by argon fluoride 193 nm excimer laser ablationinductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry was reported in this paper. NIST SRM 612 was used as external calibration standard and 29Si as internal standard to correct signal drift, difference in transport efficiency and sample yield. The detection limit of the method are 0.003 μg/g for Nb and 0.006 μg/g for Ta. The method has been applied to the determination of Nb and Ta in National Geological Reference Materials and the results are in agreement with the certified values with precision of less than 10%RSD (n=11).
