Determination of Sulfide in Marine Sediments by Elemental Analyzer

  • 摘要: 建立了使用元素分析仪直接固体进样测定海洋沉积物中硫化物的方法——差减法。样品称取两份,一份直接测定总硫,另一份在500℃灼烧3 h除去硫化物后测定剩余的硫,两个结果的差值为硫化物中硫的含量。与常规测定方法相比,方法具有称样量少、操作简便、准确可靠等优点,检出限为0.018%,精密度(RSD,n=12)为2.50%~5.48%,回收率为97.7%~99.3%。

     

    Abstract: A method (called subtraction method) for the determination of sulfide content in marine sediments using elemental analyzer with direct solid sampling has been developed. Two samples were parallelly weighed, one was used for the determination of total sulfur, the other was burned at 500℃ for 3 h and then used for the determination of the remaining sulfur. The difference values of analytical results of sulfur in two samples is the content of sulfur in sulfides. The detection limit of the method was 0.018%, the recoveries were 97.7%~99.3% with the precision of 2.50%~5.48%RSD(n=12). Compared with the conventional measurement method, the method provided the advantages of lower sample weighing, simple operation, high accuracy and reliability.
